New York Social Sports Club athletes aren't just fierce competitors. No way! They love each other too! When you spend your free time with a bunch of friends and strangers wearing the same shirt... THAT'S what we call intimacy! It doesn't matter what team you're on. We give each other high-fives in the middle of the game! Free hugs for everyone! We make "Setter Sandwiches" TWINSIES!!!

New York Social Sports Club must have scored big with a new hover court at the Chinatown YMCA! If not, these social athletes must have trained seriously for these insanely high vertical leaps!

Beach volleyball is a sport of all sports! Great players must know how to do it all – jump high, dive low, and pass to the middle. It is truly a sport for the all around athlete! Looks to me like "transferable skills" isn't just something you need for your resumes!

The inaugural game of the Sunday Upper West Side beach volleyball league felt more like the first day of summer then the middle of fall. But the intensity of the sun's rays was no match for the off-the-charts, thermometer-exploding performance of the players! Set beautifully against the backdrop of the serene Hudson River and bustling West Side Highway, there is no doubt that this season is going to be exciting, fast-paced and, oh yeah...HOT!
