The Spring Season for Early Dodgeball is in full bloom (look at al of the pretty colors)!

This season's kick-off games were filled with so much positive energy (as they always are)..

Players were excited to re-connect with old friends and/or meet new people:

The thrill of rushing into the center for action:

The anticipation of surveying your opponent... Where shall I throw?

Getting to strategize with your Teammate:

...And then there is the most exciting of them all - the all important throw to make others dodge...

...And of course the exhilarating DODGE...!!

And last but not least, the happiness that overcomes you that makes you high-five and cheer on your Team & Teammates:

This is going to be a great Early Dodgeball Season! Go Get' 'Em Bad Assets (daisy), Bid Over (sapphire), Dodge Bulls (kelly), Gym Class Evils (red), Midnight Sausage Bandits (old school), So You Wanna Hit This (black), Sorry We're Not Sorry (royal), Tri-Dougals (orange) and Mighty Ducks (navy).

Everyone knows it's great to win.  Being the best at something is quite a feat.  And don't get me wrong, the combination of a bar tab, medal, and place in the Hall of Champs is hard to beat.  But this season, we at NYC Social are majorly upping the incentive for being a true socialite on and off the court/field.

You can't win 'em all.  Maybe you can't even win some of 'em all.  But that doesn't mean you can't show up, have an awesome time, and enrich the experience for your fellow players.  That's why this season, the reward for Spirit Champs is, well, pretty freaking awesome!  Just ask Midnight Sausage Bandits (Heather Cardinal) and The Headhunters (Texas Orange), our dodgeball teams who were among the first to receive the new and improved NYC Social Spirit Champs SWAG BAGS!

As you can see, these teams got to relive the childhood experience of going home with a goody bag.  Crowns, shades, and snacks?!  Color me jealous.

And what did our teams think of this new prize?  Well, Action Weekly was able to grab this extremely eloquent and informative quote from one Midnight Sausage Bandit player:

'HOLY S**T, FUN DIP!!!!!!!!!!!!"

...Let the sugar highs commence!!

I may be a vegetarian, but that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy a nice sausage reference.

...Let me rephrase.

Even those of us that stick to veggies and quinoa can get a thrill out of meat.

...Ok, I guess there's just no good way to say this.

Doesn't matter who you are, everyone loves it when our NYC Socialites customize their team tees with nicknames, especially when it involves sausage!  Veteran Dodgeball team, Midnight Sausage Bandits (Heather Cardinal) have been doing just that for seasons and they have it down to a science.

I know what you're thinking:  "No way are there enough varieties of sausage to give a nickname to every member of a Dodgeball team".  Well sorry, friend, that's where you're wrong.  Just take a look at some of these:
