The Finer Footsteps of Flag Football

Perhaps as important as how you play the game is how you make it look. With great plays and some super skills these Sunday night flag footballers made it look easy, and sometimes made their opponents look foolish.

As demonstrated by this guy from Pork Shoulder (Maroon), when you're good enough to stop on a dime you can have a laugh about it. But as many know, the easiest way to avoid being stopped is to simply run away from people wearing a different jersey than you.

This runner from Big Azz TDs (Black) clearly has the right idea.

And it's even sweeter when you can make two miss for the price of one, as this guy from Eazy E's (Kelly) did. Yet not all of the footballers chose to avoid and elude would be "tacklers" to show off their skill sets.

Like this guy did from Made ya Fumble (Light Blue), some players walked the tightrope to stay inbounds and make the grab.

Other players, like this girl from Tap That Pass (Navy), used the tomfoolery of simply calling for the ball to trick the other team into giving it to her.

Perhaps the easiest way to keep the other team well defended is to simply make sure they don't ever get too far away. It seems like this guy from Pork Shoulder (Maroon) has the idea down pat. But no matter how you choose to play the game, there's always three things to remember:

1. Get your heads together to come up with a good play, like Homemade Juke (Red) clearly does.
KF-SunFF-04152012-38
2. Make sure to line up properly, not like this guy from Fish Fillet (Purple).

And 3, when in doubt, rub your tummy and pat your head. It worked for this girl from Skittles (Jade)!
