Some people like to spend their Tuesday nights inside, on the couch, munching on chips and playing video games.  Other people, like our Tuesday soccer teams, prefer to come out to the Chinatown YMCA and play like real-life video game characters.  High jumping, fast running, and hard kicking; these athletes sometimes get caught in unbelievable positions. 

Take this Thunder Down Under (Red)  player for example as she challenges Sonic the Hedgehog:

Or her goalkeeper teammate who seems to be re-enacting a battle from Street Fighter:

And these two from Bump and Rub (Royal) and Pommes Frites (Orange) are fighting for that header like they came straight out of FIFA 98 (ok full disclosure, I stopped playing video games once Super Nintendo went out of style, so that's the best I got):

I just hope seeing these players in action might inspire people to put down that controller and pick up your laptop to sign up for one of our leagues.  Come on, it's way more fun in real life after all.
